Major features of the project include an Intranet Dashboard that provides summaries of announcements from all organization departments from SharePoint, sales related information and quick link to internal applications. A Paperless Workflow system was also implemented with twenty workflows including procurement, leave application and software purchase requests. A new Knowledge Management System (KMS) was built to enable the creation of information and more importantly, an advanced search system for the knowledge base. The information created here is used by the ‘Ask POS’ service. For POS Malaysia customers, a POS office location system was developed to allow customers to search for POS offices based on address and location. This system also provides navigation direction to the desired offices from the user’s location.
